Civil Society engagement of Global Financing Facility (GFF)Social Accountability

GOAL/PURPOSE/AIM

Improving delivery of Women, Children, and Adolescent Health services (WCAH). In addition, the project targets hard to reach areas which are basically underserved communities. The activities include facilitating bi-annual dialogue, developing a district scorecard to track GFF implementation, dissemination workshops, and training of 80 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on GFF processes, budget advocacy and expenditure tracking, dialogue, documentation, developing district advocacy strategy in Kasese District on women, children, and adolescent health services.

The project was tailored to improving delivery of Women, Children, and Adolescent Health services (WCAH). In addition, the project targeted hard -to -reach areas which are basically underserved communities. The activities included: facilitating bi-annual dialogue, developing a
district scorecard to track GFF implementation, dissemination workshops, and training of 120 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on GFF processes, budget advocacy and expenditure
tracking, dialogue, documentation, developing district advocacy strategy in Kasese District on women, children and adolescent health services.
The project established a sub-national RMNCAH CSOs coalition that continues to engage in extended district health management Team for improvement in service delivery of women children
and adolescents.
